Since 1990 I have helped hundreds of people find greater understanding of their frightening or demoralizing feelings and learn the skills they need to become confident, engaged, and even passionate about life.

My specialty is cognitive therapy, a common-sense approach which research has shown to be one of the most powerful treatments available for defeating anxiety and depression. I developed my expertise over 12 years as a therapist, supervisor, and trainer at the Beck Institute for Cognitive Therapy and Research.
